A river runs thru both my parent's family farms. The Broad River on one and the Hudson on the other. Perhaps it was because of that experience I have a deep respect for tradition. With that said, I don't think that there is a finer example of tradition in the world of fly-fishing than a finely crafted bamboo fly rod. It combines craft, time and tradition into something that you can literally "hold in your hand". Broad River Bamboo Fly Rods are objects that meet that criteria. Something that demonstrates respect not only of tradition but for all the master rod makers that have come before. I take great pride in every rod that passes through my shop and across my work bench.
